AlphaNet allows for inter-communication between ICX-AlphaCom nodes and AlphaCom nodes in a global network.  Nodes may be distributed across a site, campus or the globe in a transparent way, with all features available across all nodes, without hierarchical, manifold or firmware restrictions.  Up to 254 ICX-AlphaCom, AlphaCom XE, AlphaCom E or AlphaCom nodes for system expansion and backwards compatibility.
