Distributed Automatic Volume
Distributed Automatic Volume Control (DAVC) solves the problem of adjusting the Public Address system volume. DAVC uses a combination of inputs to measure and calculate the correct output volume for an output source. Inputs can be the EINS-1 Noise Sensing Microphone, but it can also be any number of Intercoms. By taking measurements not just from one source, a maximum, minimum or average volume can be calculated across an entire building, train station or factory. It’s even possible to use only the Intercom as the DAVC source, eliminating an entire subsystem of devices.
